Use and maintenance

  • 1. Use a pump sprayer to apply a light coat of the Particle Control onto the entire surface of the mat each day (first thing in the morning is best). About a quart of PC is all it takes for an average size booth.
  • 2. With an ordinary vacuum cleaner, vacuum mat at the end of each day, or in the morning before applying Particle Control. You’ll be impressed by the amount of dirt and overspray you pick up.
  • 3. Once a week, inspect mat and re-tape any edges that have popped up or where the tape has been damaged. Identify and replace any damaged areas of the mat that may cause someone to trip and fall.
  • Caution: Do not oversaturate the mat as excessive material can make it slippery or jeopardize the mat’s adhesion to the floor.

    Eagle Equipment Warranty

    Eagle Equipment warrants to the original retail purchaser of an Eagle Lift, Tire Changer or Wheel Balancer that it will replace without charge, in the United states or Canada any part found under normal use, to be defective in materials or workmanship, for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase. Warranty covers parts only; purchaser is responsible for any and all labor requirements.

    Eagle Equipment will cover warranty parts replacement shipping charges for the first 30 days after purchase. Purchaser is responsible for shipping costs after this time.

    Exclusions

    This warranty will not apply to any machine:

    1. Which has not been operated or maintained according to specifications
    2. Which has been abused, misused altered or improperly maintained
    3. Which has been improperly assembled and/or installed
    4. Requiring parts needed for normal maintenance, such as rubber pads, soap-buckets, brushes, plastic inserts, etc.

    Eagle Equipment reserves the right to make improvements and/or design changes to its equipment without any obligation to previously sold, assembled or fabricated equipment.

    There is no other express warranty on the Eagle Lift, Tire & Wheel Service equipment and this warranty is exclusive of and in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including all warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

    Eagle Equipment shall not be liable for loss of use, inconvenience, lost time, commercial loss or other incidental or consequential damages

    Freight/Shipping

    Standard Tools and Equipment uses common carriers, FedEx Ground, UPS, and independent freight haulers for shipping. We negotiate the most competitive freight rates possible and pass these savings along to our customers. We make every effort to minimize freight charges to our customers and provide for timely delivery.

    Most items in stock will ship within two business days. Standard Tools and Equipment will not be liable for any damages related to unavailability of inventory or delays in shipping.

    Standard Tools and Equipment ships all products FOB our warehouses. Title for goods passes to customer when product leaves our dock.

    Items advertised with "Free Freight" applies only to shipments within the 48 contiguous states (excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada and Mexico).

    Delivery and Unloading

    Customer is responsible for unloading shipment from truck. Standard Tools and Equipment will assume no responsibility for any additional charges or damages that may be incurred as a result of unloading from the delivering carrier's truck.

    Freight carriers have restrictions on delivering to residential addresses and may require pick-up at freight terminal. We cannot advise customers of exact time of delivery as we do not ship on our own trucks. We will give our customers an estimated time of delivery and provide them with tracking information.

    All shipments must be inspected immediately upon receipt.

    For your protection, any external damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery in order to qualify for a claim against the freight carrier. Concealed damages must be reported to the freight company within three days of delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to file for damage claims against the freight company. Shortages/missing parts must be reported to Standard Tools and Equipment customer service within seven days of delivery.

    For Paint Booths only, Customers have 30 days to report shortages/missing parts.


    Customer Pickup Order Requirements

    Customers may pickup orders from the STE warehouse, located in Greensboro, NC. It’s important to call STE before you plan to arrive to pickup your order so that we can ensure your order is in stock and ready for you to pickup. We can only offer pickup at our warehouse Monday-Friday from 8:30AM – 4:00PM.

    Customers must bring an appropriate trailer with straps for securing when picking up equipment. STE equipment cannot be loaded onto a car, truck, or SUV. The equipment must fit securely and be on a trailer or proper weight limitations. We can advise you of the proper pickup trailer and vehicle prior to you arriving. STE reserves the right to refuse to load equipment onto inappropriate trailers. STE is not liable for any damage incurred to the customer’s vehicle or equipment once the equipment has been secured to the customer’s trailer.
